Pet Sessions

It's not just our children who are the little loves in our life. Sometimes they come in pet shaped sizes, whether that be dogs, cats, horses or any other type of animal you might have given your heart to. I love to capture the character of people's pets but also the bond that they have with their owners.

My pet sessions are very individual but I try to ensure they are as relaxed and natural as possible for all involved! I like to make sure that we have a chat before I begin to photograph so that I can understand what your pet is like, whether they are shy or confident, playful or like to things to be a bit more quiet. It's a good opportunity to also find if there's anything your animal doesn't like, there might be certain things such as loud noises that put them on edge and it's really important for me to be aware of this so I can make them as comfortable and happy as possible while they are being photographed. Once i've established what your pet likes, it's time to find out what your preferences are! My sessions can take place with just your pet as the main focus or you might want to include their humans!

The location of your session can be held in a place of your choice; some clients choose their own home environment where they feel most comfortable whilst others like the idea of making the most of being outside in some of the beautiful locations we have around Northamptonshire. If you own a horse, I can visit your stable yard or meet you on location. Both make for lovely sessions and can be tailored just for you.
